Bushfield Care Centre is in Oranmore, Co. Galway. The home is situated in the countryside and provides a tranquil setting for our residents. It is located just off the main N6 linking Dublin to Galway about 2 kilometres from Oranmore, a picturesque village just outside Galway City.
The villages of Craughwell and Clarinbridge are also located within close proximity to the home.
Local areas of interest include coffee shops, local churches, and library facilities. Renville Park is also closely located for residents who wish to visit on day trips with their relatives/ representatives.

Description of Care Provided
Bushfield Care Centre provides accommodation for a maximum of 45 residents; Bushfield Care Centre provides accommodation for male and female residents over the age of 18 years old.
In addition to long term stay, we provide short-term convalescent, palliative and respite care on a 24 hour basis for residents who wish to avail of same. We are suitable for convalescence after a hospital stay, offering support with the transition between hospital and home. We also care for residents requiring Dementia Care, Intellectual Disability and Acquired Brain Injury. We offer day care also.
Bushfield Care Centre caters for low, medium, high and maximum dependency residents. This range of needs refers to the levels care required by each resident of the home.
Environmental Facilities
Bushfield Care Centre consists of a combination of thirty one bright and spacious single, rooms and seven twin rooms. Some resident bedrooms are fitted with en-suite bathrooms. The provision of a resident communal toilet and assisted bathroom has been made for residents who are not in use of en-suite facilities. All toilet and bathroom facilities are wheelchair accessible.
All bedrooms are equipped with call bells in both the bedrooms and en-suites. All beds in Bushfield Care Centre are profiling beds with the ability to move electronically. In all bedrooms the resident has a choice of locking their rooms and each bedroom has a bedside locker that provides a lockable drawer. This promotes privacy and dignity for each resident. All Residents and their families are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms in any way that they wish with the use of pieces of furniture, pictures. There is also an enclosed outside area for residence to wander freely in a safe secure environment.
Televisions are provided within all resident bedrooms unless otherwise preferred by the resident occupying the room. Wifi is provided throughout the building.
Each resident is welcome to bring personal possessions, such as pictures or a favourite armchair even their own bed if they . We encourage residents to bring in photo albums for reminiscence therapy. Limitations shall only be imposed where there are health and safety concerns. Each resident and their relatives/representatives are welcome to discuss any concerns with the Person in Charge.
